Can a body fragrance be put into a Lampe Berger?
No, only a combination of Lampe Berger's home fragrances with the AIR PUR System 3C® method of diffusion guarantees the consumer quality and safety.

Can you leave the Lampe Berger on all the time?
No, it is not intended for that. Its period of use is a maximum of one minute per cubic metre, in other words 20 minutes’ use in a 20sqm (51.60ft2) room.

Can you use the Lampe Berger when children are around?
Yes, provided you obey the recommendations for use and take care that they do not handle the lamp themselves and that the lamp is out of their reach. Purely as a precaution, we do not recommend using the Lampe Berger if there is a pregnant woman in the room.

Is the Lampe Berger dangerous for animals?
Not under normal conditions of use (see instructions for use). You must simply take care that it is out of their reach, so that there is no risk of it falling over. In any case, you must place it so that it is stable.

In which rooms can a Lampe Berger be used?
Anywhere: living room, lounge, bathroom, kitchen, office, bedroom, corridor, entrance. The atmosphere that you will create will vary according to the choice of fragrance and room.

Can you mix Lampe Berger fragrances?
No, mixing fragrances can cause chemical reactions with possible formation of substances considered as indoor pollutants, in the liquid or at the instant of diffusion. The variety of the product range means you do not have do your own mixing and that you have access to seven families representative of the best sellers in the market and today's fashions.

How do you change the fragrance?
The ideal is to have several lamps and to use a different fragrance in each one. Alternatively, simply light the burner with So Neutral for 30 minutes before switching to a different home fragrance.

Why is there isopropyl alcohol in Lampe Berger fragrances and not another alcohol?
This is the alcohol which best meets Lampe Berger's promises.

THE CATALYSIS BURNER LAMPE BERGER

How long will a burner Lampe Berger last?
With a regularly use and provided it is used exclusively with LAMPE BERGER Home Fragrances, simply change the burner after every 200 lightings. (See the recommendations for the use of burner)

How does catalytic combustion destroy odours but not that of the Lampe Berger Home Fragrance?
There are two areas in the burner of which one, the central area, preserves the nuances of Lampe Berger home fragrances.

The burner works and is hot. After few minutes, the open shade becomes cold, indicating that the burner has stopped working. Why and What is the solution ?
1)If you leave the flame to burn less than 2 minutes, there is a risk that the catalysis did not start. Solution => Try again, leaving the flame to burn for 2 minutes 2)The catalysis did not start, the burner is soaked with Home Fragrance. Solution => - Take out the wick and the burner and leave it to dry for 3 hours until the wick is completely dry. - Check the lamp is filled to a maximum of 2/3rd. - Put the wick and burner back and put the cap on the lamp. - Leave the wick to soak for 20 minutes. - Light the burner and leave the flame to burn for 2 minutes or until it has reduced visibly and then blow it out. The burner does not produce a flame. Yet, the burner is humid. Why and what is the solution?
The cap has not been replaced on the burner, the Home Fragrance has evaporated. Solution => - Take out the wick and burner out of the lamp. - Check if there is Home Fragrance in the lamp. If not, fill it up to 2/3rd. - Replace the burner and the wick asse into the lamp - Leave the wick to soak for 20 minutes. - Light the burner normally (See the instructions for use) NB: Always put the cap back on the burner between uses.

The burner does not produce a flame and the burner is dry. Why and What is the solution ?
There is no Home Fragrance left in the Lamp, OR the cap has not been replaced on the burner, the Home Fragrance has evaporated. The lamp is empty. Solution => - Take out the wick and burner out of the lamp. - Check if there is Home Fragrance in the lamp. If not, fill it up to 2/3rd. - Replace the burner and the wick asse into the lamp - Leave the wick to soak for 20 minutes. - Light the burner normally (See the instructions for use) NB: Always put the cap back on the burner between uses.

The burner is getting out of the lamp. It becomes dry and does not produce any flame. There is a risk that the flame of Home Fragrance evaporates. Why and what is the solution ?
The burner was not positioned properly on the base, mainly on small lamps. Solution : - Take out the wick and burner out of the lamp. - Check if there is Home Fragrance in the lamp. If not, fill it up to 2/3rd - Replace the burner and the wick asse into the lamp - Check the burner is correctly inserted and positiioned on the base. - Leave the wick to soak for 20 minutes. - Light the burner normally NB: Always put the cap back on the burner between uses.
